PORTRAITURE, FACES & MASKS - In this work, I am showing a female face with simplified colors and lines. It has an Asian style to it. Her face is mask like and the black eyes reflect that one cannot see what she is thinking or feeling. She keeps her inner self to herself. It has a quiet mysterious charm to it. It depicts the concept of showing one’s face to the world, yet not revealing one’s soul so that inner privacy and deep secrets stay within.
