PORTRAITURE, FACES & MASKS - This is a painting of Alex who was sometimes called Mr. Blue when he was young. He is a complex person and I’ve shown two images of him. In the profile version he looks strong, determined and content. Yet in the frontal version he appears to be having inner conflicts and there is a sorrowful quality. It is dedicated to Alex.
