First Nation Eyes

PORTRAITURE, FACES & MASKS - I was trying to reflect my empathy towards the First Nations people in this painting. I grew up with many First Nation friends and I’ve been influenced by their art and sad history. This work shows a strong, intelligent man with a sensitive soul. It symbolizes all native people who have suffered yet remain spiritually strong and dignified.
