Marilyn S. Mylrea’s art is also represented in Palm Springs, California at the Evocative Arts Gallery.  Ms. Mylrea was pleased to be included at the Grand Opening of this gallery which was held on December 2, 2005.  This inaugural exhibition featured work by four artists.  Ms. Mylrea had five paintings in this show and was the only Canadian artist in the exhibition.  The other artists included Rose Rosendo from California, Alfredo Arreguin, from Mexico whose work is also in the Smithsonian Museum of American Art, and another Mexican artist Paul Bond Pesqueira who lives in Santa Fe.  The Opening Reception was a wonderfully exciting evening.  Please see below photographs from this event.
