Robert Jess Marshall was born and raised in the interior of British Columbia. His studies included art, applied design, music and acting.  He did graphic design for Stage North Theatre in Fort St. John and worked with top design companies in Vancouver for many years.  He is an accomplished actor as well as a painter, and has acted in many TV shows and major motion films. In his paintings, Robert tries to find the beauty of spirit in all things.  His artwork is wonderfully expressive with splendid colors and amazing textures.  His style is impressionistic with many detailed brushstrokes and layers of paint.  Robert’s paintings are representational and include a variety of subject matter including beautiful landscapes, flowers, fruit and figurative work.
