FIGURATIVE ART - This work represents an angelic soul reaching up into the light. The title indicates that one is moving away from the darkness and into the light. It is a challenge to leave the shadows and one has to truly seek the light to find it. This is why the hand and arm have shadows and are taut, as there is a sense of stretching to reach into the realm of light.
