Contemporary Artist Marilyn S. Mylrea - Figures Figurative Art - Blind Faith

Blind Faith
Oil on canvas  H. 5'  x  W. 3'   1996

FIGURATIVE ART - I’ve shown an angel with a woman and two faces at the bottom. The woman has a blindfold over her eyes. She cannot see that there is an angel behind her. The black woman at the bottom left represents sorrow and the mask-like face on the lower right symbolizes pain. The woman needs to trust God and have faith. This is why the angel is behind her. She cannot see it. It is a blind trust and a blind faith.
