FIGURATIVE ART - In this painting, I am representing womanhood. I’ve shown the warmth, beauty and sensual nature of women. Yet, their faces look sad for life has been a struggle. I finished painting this work one day before my father died. He died very suddenly. So, I wondered afterwards, if the expressions of sorrow were partly because I felt some sense of the loss, which was to occur.
