PROMOTING, MARKETING AND SELLING YOUR ART
Learn how to promote, market and sell your art! This 5 week course is designed for artists who desire a greater understanding of the contemporary art marketplace and how their artwork fits into this market. Topics will include information on preparing an artist’s statement and biography, promotional materials, websites, contacting galleries, direct selling, networking, pricing and building positive relationships with art dealers and collectors. The course will be taught by Ms. Marilyn Mylrea, a professional artist and gallery owner for the past five years. Ms. Mylrea is also a professional teacher and art dealer. She has a B.F.A. in Studio art, a degree in Art History and a degree in Art Education. If you are interested in this course, please contact the gallery for the the next session.

PAINTING OR DRAWING CLASSES
By Marilyn S. Mylrea, a Professional Artist who has painted for over 25 years, and a Professional Teacher with eleven years of teaching experience. Ms. Mylrea has 3 degrees including a Major Degree in Studio Art (Painting), a Minor Degree in Art History from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (B.F.A.), and an Art Education degree from the University of British Columbia (B. Ed.). She has taught art at numerous institutions including at the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design, West Point Grey Academy, North Shore Continuing Education and Dorset College.
PRIVATE CLASSES - $70.00 Per Hour – Times Arranged Individually.
